Yeah, it was depressing to watch him struggle through that performance. Even MORE depressing to realize that Seacrest will wind up being his likely heir. In any case, shortly after the ball dropped I slipped into a Sudafed-induced haze and was probably out by, like, 12:07 or so Eastern time. So, phlegmy New Year to you!!!!! :D
Hmmm, I know this is late (only 2 days), but I thought I'd respond anyway. I, unfortunately, did not tune in to see Mr. Clark, and it sounds like he's ready for retirement (or maybe that should have happened years ago?) He got tagged as being "eternally young", and I'm thinking that's kept him from "aging gracefully". Oh well---I wish I could have come to the city, but alas, highway 80 was under water (at least the part near Fairfield). Hopefully the train on Wednesday will be water-tight!
